SMS Service - track your application
SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text in English and re-assures you that your visa application is progressing towards the final stages of the visa application process. At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message to your registered email address, informing you that the UK Border Agency has made a decision on your visa application and your documents are now ready to be returned.
You can buy this service for
400 Naira only (VAT included) at the same time you submit your visa application form, supporting documents and biometric data at the visa application centre.
Note: This value added service is optional and is available only in Nigeria for local SMS only.

Priority Visa Service
The UK Border Agency has a priority visa service in Nigeria.
You will be able pay an additional fee to fast track your application and have your visa application processed ahead of others. Only a limited number of priority visas will be available each day on a first come, first served basis.
Cost: NGN 25,000.00 for each visa application
The priority visa service will be available to the following criteria only.

The UK Border Agency will expedite the processing of your visa application and return of your documents. Customers may request this service if they are applying for a visitor visa (excluding student visas) and have travelled without difficulty in the last two years to one of the following countries: UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or a Schengen country.

To apply for a priority visa you must complete and submit a UK visa application as normal and visit the UK's visa application center’s operated by VFS Global in Nigeria where you will be able to obtain further details about the priority service.

The UK Border Agency will fast track the processing of your application and aim to make your documents available for collection (or passed to the courier, if you have paid for this service) in the following timescale:

This service does not imply or guarantee in any way that by using the priority service you will be successful in your visa application. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK Immigration rules. The amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or, in exceptional cases, takes longer to process.
You should be aware that you may experience extended processing times if any of the following factors apply, if you have:

previously been refused a visa for the UK, and/or; |

previously been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or; |
|
previously been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or; |
|
overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or; |
|
been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or; |

been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America or the Schengen countries |

Been convicted of a criminal offence in any country. |

Photocopying service
There is a photocopying service at the visa application centre for a fee of 30 Naira for each photocopied sheet.
Photograph service
There is a photograph service at the visa application centre for a fee of 1500 Naira for 8 photographs that meets UK Border Agency photograph standards.
Courier Service
There is a courier service available at all the visa application centres for return of your passport at the address provided for a fee of 4500 Naira per passport.
